On august 9 the Global brand Huawei has launched their new operating system Harmony to challenge the Google's Android. Harmony OS is a microkernel based, distributed OS for all scenario.
Huawei's Harmony creates a shared ecosystem for all the devices which can gives the better experience with IOT. Firstly it is aimed with smart products such as watches, speaker, displays, in-car devices and many more. Richard Yu who is the CEO of Company's consumer business group, had declared that the platform will be open source and easily available for all.

COMPANY CLAIMS THAT IT IS BETTER THAN GOOGLE'S ANDROID LET'S SEE HOW
- Huawei claims that HarmonyOS IPC performance is 5 times that of Google's Fuchsia and three times that of QNX.
- Android isn't as efficient due to its redundant codes, outdated scheduling mechanism and general fragmentation issues.
- With the microkernel design harmony OS should be safer as there is no root access available and with this it is also protected by I isolation from external kernel services.
- Whether Android is stuck with the Linux Kernel less intelligent fair scheduling mechanism.
- With the lightweight system Huawei says the harmony OS will offer some performance boost. It will feature a a deterministic latency engine that can better allocate system resources using real time analyses and forecasting.
